Special Skills
- Field methods for rock stress determination (field
in-situ stress measurements within two iron ore deposits
in KURSK MAGNETIC ANOMALY region at depth range from 220
to 650 meter in quartzite, granites and iron ores using
hydraulic fracturing and overcoring technique).
- Laboratory determining the strength and deformability of
rock materials (uniaxial and triaxial compressive and
tension).
- Field stress, strain and displacement monitoring using
wire/rod extensometers, electric/mechanical strain gages,
surveying. Two/three dimensional finite element analysis
of in-situ stresses and stresses around underground
openings (all stages of preprocessing, solving and
postprocessing with different software tipes).
- Strong computing skills in MS-DOS, Windows, technical
programs and applications (Spreadsheet packages (EXCEL,
SUPERCALC); packages for data analysis and visualization
(STATISTICA, SURFER, TECPLOT); Database packages
(PARADOX, dBase); Mathematical packages (MATLAB)).

Employment experience:
- scientific research for fifteen years, 12 scientific
research projects was carried under my supervision in
VIOGEM institute since 1986;
- projects elaboration and construction of underground
mining for two years.

- underground dam projects, control and construction
